A small, slightly stubborn retro arcade game.

Originally written when I was 12 years old — in BASIC, on a store display machine.

At the time, I didn’t even own a computer.

I used to visit a local computer shop, borrowing time on their machines, writing code piece by piece between customers.

Later, after finally getting my own SHARP X1, I rebuilt those fragments into a complete game.

It was eventually published in a Japanese computer magazine.

Decades later, I reconstructed it again — this time to run in a modern browser.

Some parts couldn’t be copied as-is.

Some had to be rewritten from scratch.

But the goal stayed the same:

Make it run. As it was.

■ Gameplay

Drive along a vertically scrolling road.

Avoid obstacles, oncoming cars, and the edge of the road.

Survive longer. Score higher.

■ Controls

← → : Move

Any key : Start

Y / N : Retry

■ Features

  • Originally written in Hu-BASIC (CZ-8CB01)
  • Reconstructed from a childhood project
  • Retro visuals and raw PSG-style sound
  • Runs entirely in your browser

No tutorials.

No upgrades.

Just code, memory, and reflexes.

This is not a remake.

It’s a reconstruction.
